Falling Down a Fissure

falling down a fissure wondering
when the end will come the end
will end with a darkness the dark
will come and the end will come
with it

when will come the sun when
will come the light at the end will
the sun bring the light to the end
and the dark

falling down a fissure wondering
when will come the impact
hoping for the impact knowing
that it will bring the end of thought
knowing that will come the dark
the light the end the impact

falling down a fissure knowing that
the impact won't hurt won't impact
the light the dark the end the thought
knowing the impact won't hurt a thing
in the end

falling down a fissure knowing
theres always an edge before the
end before the impact before the
dark before the light aside from
the thought

falling down a fissure knowing
theres always the reflex to grab
on the edge to grab aside thought
before the end before the dark or
the light

falling down a fissure wondering
when the end hoping for the end
knowing the end and the edge and
the light and the dark waiting for
the impact

falling down a fissure with a parachute
and a smile on my face
